NTA NEET UG 2020, Official Date July 26
NEET UG 2020 will be held on July 26th as per the scheduled date. A fake notice with the name of NTA has been circulated among the NEET candidates and to their parents stating that, NTA NEET 2020 has been postponed to August.
The notice which has been circulated among the social media is fake, and it is clarified by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Earlier in the day, the Central Government’s Press Information Bureau (PIB) had also issued the similar clarification.
The fake advisory which has been circulated in the name of NTA, claimed that the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG – 2020) has been postponed to the month of August 2020. Now it is clear that the given notice is a fake one. The exams will be held on 26 July as scheduled.
NTA Said: “All candidates and parents are hereby informed that no such decision has been taken by NTA and concerned authorities till date.”
NTA had announced that the NEET UG 2020 exams will be held on July 26, the dates has been postponed from May 3 to July 26 due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 which also forced the Central Government to initiate a nation wide lockdown to curb the spread of disease.
